Job Responsibilities — From the AMEX job posting:
• Arranging routine and complex domestic and international business travel for air, car, hotel, limo and rail.• Providing consultative multi-country routings for best fares and preferred carrier usage.• Ensuring optimum customer servicing while coordinating interdepartmental responsibilities.• Proficient use of computer systems and exceptional telephone customer servicing techniques.• Utilize Apollo GDS and Apollo RezOnePlus (ROP).•Timely and accurate servicing of American Express Business Travel needs for corporate clients via phone, email or in person.
Minimum 5 years international corporate travel experience.• GDS experience is required; Current Apollo and Apollo RezOne Plus expertise are highly preferred.• Knowledge of international fare construction and airline routing principles.• In depth knowledge of world geography.• Professional written and verbal communication skills• Ability to multitask in fast paced, ever changing environment.• Ability to quickly learn and integrate policy and procedures.
Schedule — Hours will vary between 8am to 11pm Eastern, generally from Sunday through Friday.
