Location — Virtual position, work from home.

Job Responsibilities —  From the Connections Academy job posting:

·         Proactively communicate regularly with Connections Learning programs  to identify and understand their needs;
·         Assist Connections Learning staff  to problem solve issues and questions that arise throughout the year and coordinate with other departments as necessary;
·         Troubleshoot basic issues related to the use of Connexus®, the Education Management System (EMS), as needed to support Connections Learning staff;
·         Escalate school and program concerns and recommendations to the appropriate personnel in the centralized office for appropriate action;
·         Provide Connections Learning staff with training and resources needed to meet their needs and coordinate with other corporate departments when necessary;
·         Access data regularly to ensure Connections Learning staff understand key training objectives and complete key tasks accurately, fully, and on time;
·         Work collaboratively with all members of the School Support Training Team to support and reinforce overall Training goals and initiatives;
·         Assist in the creation, review, evolution, and implementation of training programs and orientations for staff, parents, and students;
·         Provide support and develop staff training as it relates to the unique needs of Connections Learning schools;
·         Suggest modifications to training and delivery methods for different user needs (e.g., new,  returning, and adjunct teachers; teachers not employed by Connections Education) after analyzing data (e.g., from orientation courses, issues raised by employees, and employee and student metrics);
·         Create, update, and monitor IAs to complete work initiatives;
·         Assist in maintaining, updating, and refreshing the Connections Education manuals and training;
·         Review and edit, as appropriate, Data Views for clarity and completeness;
·         Assist in creating Connections Learning version of posts for corporate communications;
·         Complete various projects as defined by the Manager of School Support, Training;
·         Work collaboratively as a member of the School Support Team with members of Connections Learning and Connections Academy departments and teams


· Degree in Education, Education Technology, or a related field, required;
· Prior experience teaching and training within Connections Education, highly desired
· Familiarity with Connexus, the Education Management System (EMS), highly desired
· Exceptional phone manners and customer service skills
· Exceptional verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills
· Ability to speak and/or present efficiently and effectively to groups of employees and customers virtually or face to face with high customer satisfaction
· Effective and consistent interpersonal skills
· Customer-focused approach
· Ability to understand needs of customers and create or recommend training based on these needs
· High degree of flexibility, problem-solving, forward-thinking, and initiative to effect operational improvements for Connections Learning schools
· Exceptional ability to seek and respond to feedback regularly
· Ability to travel to program locations to provide training and support as needed
· Demonstrated ability to learn and work well in fast-paced environment
· Ability to multi-task and respond to change
· Team player track record and commitment to a group-oriented approach
· Technologically proficient (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office and programs)
