The Job — Full time Call Center Agent for Guthy Renker

Location —  Telecommute from home, must live in North Carolina

Job Responsibilities —  

Answer inbound customer service and sales calls in an efficient and courteous manner.

Effectively offer upsells, close sales, and save cancellations where possible.

Address customers primary issue on all calls while building rapport.

Provides accurate and timely information to customers regarding orders, billing, shipping status, and cancellations.Telephone

Use company systems to accurately update records, enters appropriate codes for each inbound call when completed.

Meet center specified metrics such as average call time, quality, etc.

Review product materials to maintain familiarity with current offers, pricing, delivery options and schedules, and promotional specials.


High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred.

Type at least 30 words per minute

Previous customer service experience required, prefer experience in a call center environment.

Inbound sales experience preferred.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Technical requirements include knowledge of PCs including Microsoft Office applications, and a quiet work environment that closely matches that of a typical office space.

PC with Windows Vista, 7 or 8, and a high speed internet connection required.
