Location — Work at home, must live within 50 miles of Kansas City, Missouri
Job Responsibilities — From the job posting:
The work at home customer service specialist receives incoming telephone calls and assists customers to complete various tasks through a computer interface.
This is a Customer Service position with no sales requirement.
-Locating Information quickly in a scripted environment
-Listening to customer concerns and resolving issues
-Reading information for instructions/questioning scripts
-Multi-Tasking (Listening, Talking, Typing, Reading, Writing, Data entry, and confirming)
-30 words per minute typing skills with 95% accuracy
-Basic knowledge of Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word), Outlook, and basic computer manipulation
-The home office must provide a quiet workspace free from background noise.
-All work at home agents must provide a telephone “land line” and HIGH SPEED internet in their home. Cellular telephone service is not acceptable.
-The candidate must provide his or her own desk and chair.
-Internet must be “Cable Modem” or DSL. Acceptable providers include: Comcast, SureWest/Consolidated, Time Warner, Google Fiber, or AT&T Uverse.
-Wireless card or Satellite based internet service is NOT acceptable.
-The Download speed must be at least 6.0 MBPS. The job candidate will be sent a link to an internet speed test. The internet connection must be tested and approved by PEAK management prior to the candidate’s start date in order to be considered for employment.
Schedule — Four weeks training onsite, will begin September 2,2014. 20-40 hours per week thereafter, agents will be assigned core hours which are generally 9am -1 pm weekdays.
