The Job —   Customer Service Representative for 1-800-Flowers (Temporary)

Location —  Work from home, available in New York and several other states (Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oregon, Montana and Delaware)

Job Responsibilities 

Provide courteous customer service to callers to 1-800-Flowers1-800-flowers logo

Input orders for flowers and related products based on customer selection

Advise customer of delivery options and time frames.

Upsell appropriate items based on customers’ selection of product.

Process payments for product, advise of delivery status, escalate unresolved issues when necessary.


Must be resident of New York or other specified states.

PC literate and able to type 35 words per minute.

18 years of age older with high school diploma or GED to apply.

Prior call center experience preferred, strong sales skills a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, math skills required.

Technical requirements include the following:  High speed internet service (cable or DSL), PC with Vista or Windows 7, MS Office and anti-virus software.    Telephone service may include certain VOIP options, check with company directly to determine which options are acceptable.

Schedule —  No details listed.  Will be full time, expect nights and weekends as this is a 24/7 call center.
