Job Responsibilities —  From the company job posting:

  • Communicate and collaborate with customers and your HireAthena team daily


Provide configuration (customer implementation) support to HireAthena Accounting Managers


Provide as needed service delivery support to the HireAthena team


Multitask among several customer files


Receive, process, and, when necessary, investigate customer’s accounts payable invoices


Process expense reports using advanced IT systems, adhering to company policies & procedures


Answer inquiries from vendors for several customers; field and resolve issues surrounding outstanding issues


Generate and distribute 1099 forms for vendors


Maintain tracking of customer assets


Process, record and reconcile payroll for several customers


Perform audits or monthly benefit payment by employee


Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested


Perform timely month end close support for multiple customers for accounts part of the cash disbursement cycle (including, but not limited to, payroll, prepaids, fixed assets, accounts payable, other asset and other liability accounts)


Post other required month end closing entries in accordance with GAAP


Manage for customers, employee payroll related activities, which includes employee benefits


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred

Experience with QuickBooks or Xero required

Excellent attention to detail required

Proficient with Google applications and progressive technical tools

Must possess excellent communication skills and be customer service oriented

Self-starter in a fast-paced environment with ability to work remotely

Schedule —  Full time, flexible
