The Job — Seasonal Customer Service Associate for Amazon.com

Location — Work from home, must live in West Virginia

Job Responsibilities 

Assist Amazon customer via telephone regarding orders

Check on shipping status and product availability per customer requests.

Assist via chat and instant messenger (IM) when assigned.

No selling required, no outbound calling.

Use internet tools to assist customers in a timely manneramazon-logo

Requirements/Qualifications 

High school diploma or equivalent,  Associates degree or higher preferred

One year of customer service experience, three or more years preferred.

Able to pass criminal background check.

Attend new hire orientation on site, location Huntington West Virginia.

Excellent computer skills – familiar with e-mail, web navigation, chat, and Microsoft Office

Work from home office requirements include the following:   Desktop or laptop computer meeting system requirements, quiet home office, high speed internet access with minimum 5 Mbps download speed, dedicated land line service, and alternate means of contact (second phone line or cell phone).

Schedule — Flexible, but will include evenings and weekends for new hires.   Amazon is open from 5AM to 11 PM Eastern time, seven days a week.  Full time Customer Service Associates may be asked to work more than 40 hours per week during peak hours.

Compensation — $10 an hour to start.  Bonus opportunity also available.
