The Job — Seasonal Customer Service Associate for Amazon.com
Location — Work at home, must live in Kentucky and be willing to attend orientation in Lexington
Assist customers with orders via telephone.
Use other technology when assigned to assist Amazon customers (e-mail, chat, etc)
One year of customer service experience, 3+ years preferred.
High school diploma or GED, Associates degree or higher preferred.
Outstanding communication skills, active listener and be able to work under stressful situations at times.
Must pass criminal background check.
Strong computer and web navigation skill set. Familiar with MS Office, e-mail and chat.
Ability to complete four week virtual training class from home.
Be willing to work through busiest time of year, including one or both weekend days.
Work at home requirements include desktop or laptop PC (Windows 7 or 8), no Macs at this time. Anti virus software and firewall enabled, high speed internet with at least 5 Mbps download speeds. An analog phone line is also necessary to work from home for Amazon.
Schedule — Variable, will include nights and weekends for new employees. Full time employees may work more than 40 hours a week during peak period. Shifts scheduled from 5AM to 11PM Pacific time.
