In this job your title will be At Home Reservation Sales Associate, assisting customers with reservations and inquiries about Starwood properties around the world. Calls will be inbound, and the starting pay for the position is $10.25 an hour with the ability to earn incentives up to $4.50 an hour. After training, new hires will work the swing shift, which is from 1:30 PM to 10 PM, so that is something to consider before jumping into the application process. Employees may bid for earlier shifts later on, based on seniority and performance on the job.
Requirements include a high school diploma, a passion to serve guests, working knowledge of computers and the internet, customer service and sales experience, the ability to work flexible shifts (including overtime) and keyboarding skills. No specific typing speed is specified, however.
Employees must also live in the 508 or 774 area code for this position. Employees are provided a company computer, keyboard, mouse, phone and software for the position. Employees must set up a home phone line and broadband internet connection, but Starwood does reimburse for the installation and monthly charges, something you will not find with most call center jobs from home.
